Treat everyone with respect and create an environment in our community where everyone can coexist and enjoy each other. Continue the diverse traditions of our community and provide a space for family gatherings, education, recreation, social events, and much more.
The plan
We have created this page so that everyone can be informed of the progress and transparency of the San Sebastián Community Center. When it is finished, we have no doubt that we will be happy and proud to have worked so hard for our community. It will be a legacy for future generations.
In the Canton of San Sebastián we know of the need to have a meeting space for our community. They need a place for meetings, family gatherings, celebrations, children's games and more. We believe that a strong community is built through events that celebrate our traditions, values and beliefs. It is for this reason that we are working to build the San Sebastián Community Center, to support the residents of the community.
This center will provide a safe space where educational activities and social events can take place. Here people will have the opportunity to interact, learn and enjoy. Also, it is about fostering a sense of belonging and unity among members of our community. For those of us who are outside the country, when visiting San Sebastián, we will feel proud and happy to have been able to provide a safe and beautiful space to the community. Together, we can create a vibrant community center that develops, supports and celebrates our community.
However, to make this dream a reality, we need your financial support. Any contribution from you will be key to building this much needed community center. To achieve this goal, the generosity of all those who want to see the prosperity of our beloved San Sebastián is necessary. We know that there are many good-hearted, altruistic and supportive people to can help.
Construction is planned to be completed in two phases. The first phase began in December 2023. The estimated cost of both phases is $250,000. The cost may seem high, but we are sure it will be worth it for all the valuable benefits that the community center will provide.
